Social reporting tool Storify raises $2 m

storyStorify, a tool that allows the stories linked to journalists to tell the professional and citizens by dragging and dropping, articles, Tweets, Flickr embeddable page has raised $2 million in his first major financing round photos and online videos on a single.

The entire $2 million came from Khosla Ventures, a company considerable investment in major applications as made hunch and slide (purchased Google last summer).

Storify has a staff of four and plans to use the funds to hire designers and JavaScript developer to further build out the product that has been in private beta since the start in September. The product was used by bloggers, PR professionals and major news organizations such as NPR, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, to compile stories. The post used to collect it as political candidates recession and concession of Tweets in the 2010 midterm elections.

Still no concrete business model has emerged. The team will continue the product co-founder Burt Herman focus said.
